Tampa Bay Wave TechDiversity Demo Day
Back in May Resility was chosen to be part of the first cohort group inducted into the Tampa Bay Wave’s TechDiversity Accelerator Program. The program is backed by the Nielsen Foundation and set it’s sights on diversifying the tech startup industry. The first cohort group included just ten startups, and Resility Health is one of them. The 90-day journey would be an ideal way to grow our business and connect with other startups. This innovative accelerator focused specifically on companies led by minority, female, veteran or LGBT founders.
Fast-forward to late August and we have completed the program, along with nine other exciting tech startups. While today marks the unofficial end of the program, Tampa Bay Wave will remain an important partner and mentor for Resility Health. Today we “graduate” by participating in the first ever TechDiversity Demo Day.
We had the opportunity to present our new and improved, polished version of our company pitch. In attendance were local and national investors, supporters of the Tampa Bay Tech and plenty of other regulars of the startup scene. The event was at the University of South Florida’s Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS).
We would like to thank our mentors at Tampa Bay Wave as well as our cohort colleagues. It was an honor to work alongside so many exciting companies. We look forward to watching their successes in the future.
